UNCG University Libraries, the Jewish Studies Program, and the UNCG History Department have been collaborating to create an archive of Jewish history in Greensboro and the Triad area. The Greensboro Jewish Archives and Oral History Project documents and preserves oral histories and archival materials critical to the Jewish and Greensboro communities.
Please hold the date of Sunday, May 17th, 1:00 – 3:00 pm, for the project’s launch event at the Temple Emanuel downtown campus, 713 N. Greene Street. The purpose of this event is to share original materials and clips from some of the stories shared with us. For more information, please contact Stacey Krim at srkrim@uncg.edu or 336-334-5498.
